It is late in the evening but I just had to say Happy Birthday to my little sister!

Wife and stay-home Mom ponders "big people" thoughts, talks about her kids, praises God, and invites you to join her.

How in the world do you pronounce her name?!?!?!?!!! Is it "sorry" (Cuz that's what I hear in my head, or "say-re" (Cuz that's probably what many native TNans would spew out), or maybe even "say-rhi"? Come on... tell me cuz it's driving me batty.
Oh, and Happy Birthday Sari! :)
We say it /Sehr-ree/. My Grandmother used to call her /Say-ree/ or sometimes just "Say" for short. The Japanense pronounce it Sorry. My Mom had a teacher friend named Sari Martin and always loved her name. Sarah Katherine is a fanily name, so my parents decided to jazz it up a bit and named my sister Sari Kathleen. The year my sister was born, Sari Martin the teacher, had a cute little boy in her first grade class named Robby Grosz. 16 years later, that little boy married a girl whose sister was named after his first grade teacher! :) Small world!
