A little bah hum bug

Even though I wasn't crazy about this picture, I was proud to have had my Christmas cards ready to go last week. Then my Mom noticed something wasn't quite right. You may not be able to tell from this small picture but something is misspelled (SHOCKING, I know!)
So I have been sitting on these cards for days wondering if I will send them out anyway or pay to have all 100 of them re-done. Rob says we are sending them as is, no re-doing allowed. Everyone knows I can't spell....but my own name??? It's given me a little bah hum bug! UUUGGGHHH!!!!

too bad it's not a typo you can blame on the printer!!

Well I could blame iton the printer but really that is what I get for trying to do Christmas Cards on-line in the middleof the night! So far I'm thinking I may just re-do them all with my mad money.

You could just make everyone think you've always spelled it that way and they've been getting it wrong this whole time. You would have to legally change the spelling of your name to really pull this off, but you could come up with an elaborate story of how "Stephaie" is the Bulgarian spelling of "Stephanie" and that you descended from Bulgarian royalty. And everyone knows the Bulgarian language has no "n." (Except in the word "Bulgarian.")

This could be fun!

remember Mae did that last year, but she mis-spelled her husbands name....(I shouldn't tell you that I remember it a year later)

But, you have already confessed it here....let it go...spend that money on those sweet babies!

You could just call it a typo rather than a misspelling. Would that make you feel better?!?!

Send them out and see if anyone even notices, I bet they will all focus on the cute kids and never know! Maybe you could give a prize for the first person to notice.

Oh, send 'em. Nobody is going to be looking at that part anyway. I look at people's kids to see how they have grown/changed.

Mine are probably going to be late this year. You better believe I double checked them! ha ha

I guarantee you that most people will read "Stephanie" - their brains will automatically add the "n" because that's what they're trained to read. Only a very few people will even catch it! Besides, they'll be too busy looking at that adorable picture of your kids to even care about the words!!!! SEND THEM!!!!

I at first assumed the last name was misspelled and wondered why you blocked it out if you wanted us to find it. I'm exTREMEly detail-oriented, and did just as Beaner said. I saw what I thought was there.

No worries! :-)

You guys made me feel so much better. I am going to send them today as is. BUT I did have 25 extra printed "right" to send to some people I just couldn't send a misspelled card to! :)

That is hilarious. Glad you're sending them as is, and you need to keep one for yourself to remember it!

I'm glad you stopped back by my lapsed blog - I just had to come back and wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Your kids are so cute - love all the pictures you post.
