Slackers Rule...

I FORGOT TO DO CHRISTMAS CARDS THIS YEAR!

Really! Somehow it just kept slipping my mind. Today is December 15th. Is it too late? Should I even try? Maybe I'll just post some pictures on my blog and e-mail everyone a link? Somehow I'm not sure that would fly with the grandparents. Besides I have this huge photo album of all the Christmas card pictures we have received over the last eight years. I would hate not to be able to add my own kids to this years pages. So maybe we will do "Happy New Year" cards instead.

I used to have all this holiday stuff done by Thanksgiving. It seems I enjoyed the Holidays a lot more then. What happened to that super organized girl? I want to be her again! It all started when I slept in the morning after Thanksgiving and skipped all the sales, it's been down hill ever since. I am learning the hard way that Christmas comes whether you're ready or not. I think next year I will try to do all this a little earlier!

Hope all of you are leaps and bounds ahead of Christmas. If not...take heart ...my new mantra is "SLACKERS RULE THIS YULE!" Care to join me in that?

Slackers rule this Yule? Coooool!

I thought I might get some of my cards addressed last night. Not! I may have to say Happy New Year, instead of Merry Christmas!

I am a TOTAL slacker! I didn't do Christmas cards this year (again), I haven't bought any presents for my niece & nephew who live 4 states away, I only have 1/2 of my other presents done, Santa is not done shopping, & I have nothing wrapped! The problem is that I just don't WANT to do any of it, but I feel like I HAVE to so these last 10 days are going to be CRAZY for me. I'm just looking forward to that first day of school after Winter Break - can us moms have a party on THAT day?

What do you mean, it's too late? Anytime between Thanksgiving and New Year's is fine. Once January hits, though, you've missed it. One of my friends sent Groundhog Day letters one year, she was so far behind. That was pretty funny.

Sorry to bust you, but this is not the first time you have done this. You may have been super-organized at some point, but I am thinking it was before Kolby was born. You've made some of your cutest cards ever at the last minute. You still have 10 days, go now!
I mailed most of my cards just this morning, and you know we had the pictures a couple of weeks ago. We are not quite done shopping and I have not wrapped a present; I am feeling a little panicky myself.
You can do it Steph, I know you can. I am waiting on my card. . .

Hey now Susan,I had my cards in the mail by December 1st when Kolby was 9months and 18 months. We didn't send cards when she was almost three due to a malfunctioning camerea and other issues. Since then we have had them done by now...I think. This year I just feel very behind. Truly I don't even have a planned Christmas Card outfit!!! Can you imangine that! As I said, Slackers rule this year:)

Even with my renewed Love for Christmas I mailed the last of my cards today. I did photo cards with my grandson, letter style and just took the pictures Tuesday night! You have time! Go girl!

I had a particular Christmas in mind when I said that, but maybe I am wrong.
