Before & After

Photo Blogging is a great out during writers block! This is the bedroom before and after that I talked so much about in January. What do you think?

Lovely, I see where your painting ended up. Great spot for something you love so much.

I LOVE it--any way you can come help me some time soon--in your "free" time of course! Really, you did a great job!

Is it bad that i LOVE the blue??? I guess we can just be opposites on that!

I loved it too but it was a deep hunter green ~ And I painted it that way when we moved in. It was just too dark for me! We have a computer area on the other side of the room where I spend a lot of time and I needed brighter surroundings! But I do miss the color a little...but I love this Balsam Beige...it is much richer in person. Also I love our new furniture and it did not show when the room was soo dark. But I love color!!!

I think it looks great! Getting rid of dark wall colors can open up a room so much. Dark colors just depress me. We painted our kitchen and bathroom bright yellow -- it makes such a difference. Hope you're enjoying your new bedroom!

Looks great! By the way, your pictures are ready. You can pick them up any time. (hee hee)

I like it. The lighter walls definitely are an improvement. It takes a special kind of room to handle dark walls, and I've never thought bedrooms were that kind of room.

Is it bad that I like it both ways? Sometimes there is no "right" way. Just what you prefer!

I can't believe I haven't been over in so long, considering we live only minutes away from each other. But I have to say I love the new color and furniture. I think the green was maybe too dark for the entire room too. Then if you want to change later you can paint the one wall behind the bed an accent color. You know ours is red, and it adds so much to our room.

You say you painted this yourself, huh? I WILL NOT be posting pics of my recently semi painted bathroom!
