M&Ms have gone to the dark side! It's a really neat ad campaign. With just 49 days until the May 19th release, The Star Wars/Episode III hype is starting to mount. Rob is so excited. I have to say, even I want to see what happens or how things happen in this movie. We already know the ending to this saga, but there are so many loose ends to wrap up and stories left to tell. I am curious to see how Lucas pulls it off. It is going to be a very dark movie, of that we can be sure. I almost feel like I am waiting to see a train wreck. Any other Star Wars fans out there? Anyone know how to score early release tickets? (Rob's birthday is May 17th.)

I have to confess that Mark and I are certainly planning to go see it. Wouldn't it be fun if "the gang" could get together and go?
Abbie's b-day is also May 17th, as she proudly shares. Can't believe she'll be 4 ...
As I posted on Mike Cope's blog a few weeks ago, my husband & I had a "Star Wars Wedding". Actually, he walked in to Darth Vader's theme (what were we thinking???) and I entered to Princess Leia's theme & the Ewok Celebration Song was our processional. We won a contest in our local paper as the area's biggest Star Wars geeks when the last movie came out. We got a limo ride & free tix to the movie. It was fun. We can't wait for this one!!!!!!
Yes Beaner I remeber that now! You guys put the fan in fanatic! That is crazy and great! So do you have big plans for Episode III? Do you guys collect all the stuff or go to any conventions or anything like that? I bet that was a fun wedding! I have never been to a theme wedding but I think it would be a blast! :) I was way stiff and formal when I planned our wedding. But the groom was perfect, the flowers were beautiful and the preacher an was awesome!
I'm looking forward to seeing this movie... I'm sure it will creep me out, since the last one did. Hayden Christiansen did such a good job of showing the evil that was beginning to develop in his character's soul.
Beaner, you aren't the only one I know who used Star Wars music in their wedding... I had forgotten about it until you mentioned it, but back when we lived in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, our youth minister and his bride had a segment where that music was played. I don't remember in what spot it was used, just that it took a lot of discussion before his bride agreed on that!
We haven't made any plans yet, but that is because our life is so day-to-day with our children & job stuff that we haven't gotten into planning that yet! (But we will!) I remember when Episode 1 came out in '99. My son was only 1 month old & I was nursing, so my husband & I took turns seeing the movie. He went to the Midnight showing the night before, and I nursed my son, dashed out the door, and was back in time to nurse again! I think I'm a little mentally disturbed! ;-)
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAWWWW!!! I can't wait for the new Star Wars movie! I was one of the dorky kids in the early eighties with an Empire Strikes Back bedspread. Bring it on!!!
