Pulled this off of my Yahoo home page this morning. Here is the caption.
Qiao Yubo, who is pregnant with at least five babies, walks with her husband, right, in Songyuan, in China's northeast Jilin province, Sunday, June 11, 2006. Qiao, who is 1.67-meters tall ( that's 5'4 for Americans) , has a waistline measurement of 1.75 meters. (5' 7) She is only five months into her pregnancy. Qiao's excessive bulk is causing difficulties in getting around, with taxi drivers too afraid to take her in their cars. Her clothing is all custom-made and she eats up to seven meals a day. Bless her heart! I hope there is an air-conditioner in her house! Somehow this makes me feel better... a lot better!

Kinda of makes me feel bad for ever thinking any of my single baby pregnancies were miserable! Good grief!
I agree with Elizabeth!
Oh, dear God... that makes me hurt just to look at it. Hope you feel chipper, upbeat, cool and are able to focus! :)

SG, I love that room! You did an awesome job.
At first glance of today's picture I thought it was someone with a huge ball of some kind under their shirt. That can't be real, can it?!
I'm so glad your kids liked the gifts. For Kolby I just thought of what Rachel would like, and Rhett was pretty easy. :-)
I'm with Mae on the password thing (sitting at another computer at the moment)!

What is that woman doing WALKING??? I think I have to give her credit for just being on her feet! YOWZA!
Geez louise ... talk about swallowing a watermelon!! Glad I'm a guy.
LOL, Mae--kids do it to ya! ; )
Oh, my gosh, SG! That is really something. I don't even want to know how swollen HER feet get! Don't you know her body will NEVER be the same after that (not that she would have time to worry about it with at least 5 kids???). Wow.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who has thought of this. China still has very strict reproduction laws.
Read, one each, no exceptions. At one time China COMPELED abortions in the event of a second or multiple pregnancy. Regardles of the length of term. I hope she will be allowed to carry she children to term.
When I first saw the picture I thought it was a joke (she had a watermellon or something taped to her)--I cannot believe the poor woman is on her feet.
It does help put things in perspective.

First of all, Wow that is early!
Second, I had never thought about China's reproduction laws! I pray she and her husband are not forced to do anythting with the babies! How sad and scary!!!! I have looked for more about this couple in the news and on the web but not found anything.
We take so many of our freedoms for granted here in the US. I am feeling even more blessed thinking that Rob and I have thefreedomof to have three kids!
Oh my goodness...
