Who are you and why are you reading my blog?

OK so I am totally copying DJG today! (Sorry Donna!) But DJG got me thinking about those of you who visit my little patch of blog world. My super sleuth site meter** tells me that there some (rare) days when I have over 100 visits. Weird. 100 visits and my visits don't even count! The same site meter tells me the location of my visitors... Someone in Washington DC reads my blog everyday for about 3 minutes. I don't know anyone in Washington DC, or do I? I always wonder who you are. I am sure 95% of you don't comment, but I really am fascinated by all this and I want to know ...Who are you? How did you find me? Why do you read my blog? : )

Whoever you are, I appreciate you stopping by and sharing my journey. Happy Tuesday & Peace Out!

**Click on the little rainbow colored box at the bottom of my blog to find out more about this.

How DID I find you? I don't know but, I'm glad I did! It's just fun to know what is going on in your life!

Howdy, I found your blog from someone's blog I read and you posted. Discovered you were from Central TX and I grew up there...and I had kids your kids age at one time. They are all grown, so it is nice to read about your family and reminisce (sp).

Also a C of C from Midland.

I don't remember how I found you, but I'm one of those daily readers - often lurking - but leaving encouraged and heartened for the day!

I want to know more about your super sleuth site meter. Is it from blogger?

I found you through BST's blog & when I knew that you were a stay-at-home mom like I am, I was hooked! Also, the fact that you wrote almost EVERY day helped too - it's like my own little soap opera! ;-)

Interesting thought. I have wondered the same thing, except I think you are the only one who reads mine anymore. So if I had a big secret, I would feel pretty safe telling you on my blog.
Hey, maybe the President is reading your blog in D.C.! You never know.

I'm pretty sure I found you through BST....and our common denominator of ACU, CofC, etc kept me coming back in the beginning. Now, I feel like I know you a little bit and love learning more about you and keeping up with the goings on in your family.

You and Sari grew up with our children at the Johnson Street Church. Your precious husband spent a lot of time in our home when he was younger -- he even went to a family reunion with us, and sang in the not-so-famous "Brown family talent show". I have treasured memories of all those years. It has been an incredible experience for me to be able to read about all the things going on in your lives now. Blessings to you and yours.

You were the one who introduced me to this time suck I call blogging! I remember you telling me about it and thinking I would never do that! What do I have to say? Thanks for getting me started!

I found your blog thru BST too. Hope he doesn't charge finder's fees! I am an ACU alum who now stays at home. I enjoy knowing other people out there think the same way I do and feel joys and sorrows and little-funnies that life brings. Thanks and keep it coming!

I think we discovered at our blog-o-versary that we started about the same time. I probably picked you up from BST or Mike Cope.

I come back because I like you!! So there!

I'm not exactly sure how I found you. I'm sure I linked over from somewhere....quite possible BST's. I am also an ACU alum which keeps me interested reading since you are, too. (right?)

I enjoy reading about your family!

I signed up for Site Meter. You said your own visits don't count on your blog ounter, but I think my own visit counted on my blog counter. Did I do something wrong? thanks!

I probably came across you in the comments section of BST's blog, or Donna's, or Jennie's, or any number of other blogs of Christian women. I come back to hear what another Christian mom is dealing with in her life.

I found your blog through Mae's blog. She and I weren't all that close but did attend the same university for a little while... funny I can't remember how I ever stumbled across her blog. Anyways, I enjoy the quirky comments and your musings as a stay-at-home mom. I hope to be able to do the same when I have children. I am a commercial interior designer who lives in the Heart of Dixie. :)

I have soooo much to thank you for!
I found you from a comment you made on Mike Cope's blog. For the longest time I came to your blog every day, because I couldn't figure out to make a list of my blogging buddies--so I just used yours!

I enjoy reading your writing--because I think you are a great mom--and I love to live vicariously through your mom stories since my kids are all grown now.

I am through Waco occasionally, but almost always have someone with me--hey--I've got it--I will fly to Waco and we can have a cappuccino some time!

~Nancy(OK, I still feel the need to call you Mrs. Dunlap) I am thrilled hear from you! Rob and I both had fun sharing our seperate great memories of your family tonight. It's so neat that you knew us both long before we knew eachother! Say Hi to all the 'Angelo crowd! Would love to catch up on all that's going on in your family!
It's so late..or at this point early, that I am off to bed with all of your sweet comments dancing in my head! Good Night!

And about the sitemeter.com site meter...you can go in the manager and have it ignore your URL so that your visits don't count.
The blogger site meter counts every hit, refresh, etc on your blog and there is no way to stop that.
